Guest Dosing Procedures and Protocols

 Note:  NMSAS is NOT accepting guest dosing clients at this time.

The NMSAS Recovery Center welcomes individuals traveling to the area and needing to guest dose. 

General Information

NMSAS Recovery Center – Hours of Dosing

Monday-Friday    6:30 AM – Noon

Saturday               7:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Sunday                  Closed. 

Guest dosing requests must indicate if client is permitted to have a take home dose for Sunday.  If not indicated, the NMSAS Recovery Center will not provide a take home dose for Sunday.

Cost Per Day for Guest Dosing - $20.  Payment must be made prior to dosing.

Guest Dosing Procedures

 Provider Responsibility

Requests to guest dose must be received 5 business days in advance of the guest dose.  The request must be signed by the Opiate Treatment Program’s physician. 

If the request spans Sunday, the request must indicate whether or not the client is permitted to have a take home for Sunday. 
The NMSAS Recovery Center is closed on Sunday.

The NMSAS Recovery Center is open and calls are answered from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday – Friday and Saturday 7:00 AM – Noon. 
Provide confirmation to the client that the request for guest dosing has been received and approved, cost per day and location of the NMSAS Recovery Center.

Client Responsibility

Arrive during NMSAS Recovery Center dosing hours
Check in at front desk and make payment for guest dosing
Provide picture ID to nursing staff
Conduct self in respectful manner toward others at the NMSAS Recovery Center including other clients, staff and volunteers.
